World Book Day

After half term we will be celebrating all our favourite books.

During the first week we will be focusing on The Runaway Pancake and other pancake stories, we will definitely be making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday!

The following week on March 5th it is World Book Day, when everyone can dress up, if they would like to, as their favourite book character.

We will obviously be reading Frozen as that seems to be ‘flavour of the month’ at Pre-School but we will also be reading traditional stories and some exciting new ones.

If you have any stories at home that your children enjoy, we would love you to bring them in to share with us and, if at all possible, stay and read to a small group of children. We look forward to seeing Mum’s, Dad’s, Grannies or Grandpa’s. Everyone is welcome to pop in and of course a cup of tea will be provided.

We look forward to seeing many of you and listening to your stories during March.
